Doppel Records is an indie label based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Electro, techno, folk, shoegazing, experimental – if it’s good, it’s good 🙂
We have been around since 2010, originally releasing limited editions on cd & vinyl; now 100% digital.

The first LP we released. Philosophically inclined take on proto-ambient analogue weirdness of the seventies combined with the clarity of nineties IDM (melodic-era Autechre comes to mind). Now available as HD remaster on all streaming platforms.

The ‘Chatter’ LP from Partikel To stepped firmly into the bleak modernity of surveillance grids, low frequency hums and glitching radars. Now available as HD remaster on all streaming platforms.

Blisteringly hypermodern Bleep techno. Fans of the early Jeff Mills might find comfort here. Emotionally powerful as well, circling the ‘revolt of the lash’ – a mutiny in Brazil that essentially broke their military power at a critical juncture.

Pounding and brooding Berlinesque techno as it just had to sound in the 2010s. We did also love the purity of Raster Noton at the time. Still, this more psychedelic take on the genre seemed more vibrant and playful as we remastered and released it for today’s high-def digital streaming – perhaps due to the rather ‘rock’n’roll’ production.

Charming folk-pop. Looking for the softest keys to unlock the past. Sentimental memories of endless summer days, autumn rain, orange plastics, brown suede… The whirr of tape machines creating an impression of something more vintage than the real thing. The way memories work; less than perfect, yet more.

We miss David Lynch already, and released a tiny tribute. Two dreamy tracks for your black coffee meditation.

Ultra high-tech project of soundscaping and futurist electro. The first video installations of poetic fvtvrism are on schedule to arrive primo 2025; a full-length album by summer.
